When?

Our wedding ceremony is at 1:00pm on 23rd March 2022, with a reception to follow.

We'll ask you all to be seated at 12:30pm, but if you're there any earlier please feel free to wander the grounds, find your room & dump your stuff, or grab a snack from the kitchen.

As a lot of you are travelling to get here, you might want to make a week of it and have a Devon holiday! We have the venue hired from Monday 21st - Friday 25th, and you're welcome to stay for as long as you would like. We will have (optional) activities planned throughout the week.

Accommodation

We have the venue all to ourselves from the evening of Monday 21st to the morning of Friday 25th, and we'd love you to stay with us. If you’d like a bed for any number of those nights, we ask for a contribution of £50 per person* regardless of the length of your stay.

Colehayes has a number of comfortable, shared rooms of different sizes. Where sharing a room is necessary, we will of course assign you a room with friends/family that you already know.

There are plenty of showers and toilets throughout the house, but please bring your own towels and toiletries.

Colehayes will likely be your cheapest/most convenient option, but if you want an en-suite or want to guarantee a private room then feel free to browse the many lovely local hotels/bnbs/airbnbs.

*unless you are small enough to sleep in a cot. Wee ones can stay for free and there are some travel cots available.

Dress code etc.

Formal attire and bright, rich colours are encouraged for the wedding day, but please wear anything you'd be comfortable in. Honestly, wear a wedding dress or your PJs if that's what your heart desires.
You might also want to bring layers in case we drag you outside for a photo.

If you’re staying for any length of time beyond just the wedding day, bring plenty of cold & wet weather clothes & your walking boots. March can also be sunny, so best to be prepared for every eventuality - Dartmoor is unpredictable!

Bring a blanket if you want to spend any evenings toasting marshmallows by the firepit at the end of the garden.

There is a lake and we know some of you nutters like a wild swim, so feel free to bring your swimmers too!

Other Info.

Food and Drink

All food on the wedding day will be provided. On the other days, some food will be provided, some will be available to buy at the venue, and sometimes you will want to buy your own food while you're out and about. See the itinerary page for more detail.

Feel free to bring any snacks you would like to the venue. There is a lovely farm shop just up the road and a Tesco Express/Spar etc. in nearby Bovey Tracey.

We will be stocking the bar at the venue (based on Google Form RSVPs) and all drinks will be £1 each. There will be a card machine to take payments up to midnight. Due to licensing laws, you must pay for all your drinks ahead of midnight but you’ll be able to drink as late as you want.

+1 policy

Due to limited space at the venue, we're afraid we're only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invite.
